Our FocusCopy LLC privacy policy sets out how FocusCopy LLC uses and protects any information that you give FocusCopy LLC when you use this website.
FocusCopy LLC is committed to protecting the privacy of information you provide to us. If we request you to provide us with non-public information (NPI) about yourself, then we commit to using it for legal FocusCopy business purposes only.

What We Collect
We may collect the following information:
- Name and job title
- Business name and address
- Contact information (including email address)
When you purchase from us, we’ll ask you to provide email address. We’ll use this information for purposes, such as, to:
- Send you information about your account and order
- Create your account for our LMS
If you register a free account, then we will store your email address.
We store information about you for as long as your account exists.
We store course progress, including completion status, quiz scores, assignments and/or essay submissions (if applicable).
We will also store comments on courses, lessons, topics, assignments, and essays if you choose to leave them.
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form. The visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string are also collected to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Media
If you upload images to the website, then you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
Cookies
If you leave a comment on our site, then you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one (1) year.
When and if you visit our login page, then we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data. It is discarded when you close your browser.

Who On Our Team Has Access To Information
Members of our team have access to the information you provide us. For example, both Administrators and Group Leaders can access:
- Order information such as your enrolled courses, course progress and username / email address.
Any additional information added in your WordPress User Profile can also be visible to the administrator(s).
What We Do With The Information We Gather
All information you provide to us is needed to better understand and service your needs, and in particular for the following reasons:
- Internal record keeping
- Improve our products and services
- Periodically send promotional emails about new products, special offers or other information which we think you may find interesting using the email address which you have provided
- Contact you for market research purposes
- Contact you by email, phone, fax or mail
- Customize the website according to your interests
We share information with third parties who help us provide our orders and store services to you. For example, that includes Intuit Payment Gateway, Mailchimp, LearnDash LMS, WooCommerce, and Google Analytics.
Security
We will keep your information is secure and protect it from unauthorized access and disclosure using suitable physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.
How We Use Cookies

Payments
We accept payments through Intuit Payment Gateway. When processing payments, some of your data will be passed to Intuit Payment Gateway, including information required to process or support the payment, such as the purchase total and billing information.
Controlling Your Personal Information
You may choose to restrict the collection or use of your personal information in the following ways:
- If you have previously agreed to us using your personal information for direct marketing purposes, you may change your mind at any time by emailing us at dpo@focuscopy.com
- You may also unsubscribe from any of our emails or mailings by hitting the unsubscribe button at the end of every email. Data is cleaned every month; if you are not a paying client, then your information is deleted. If you are a paying client, your information is retained for our records only.
We will not sell, distribute, or lease your personal information to third parties unless we have your written permission, or have a legal requirement, to do so. We may use your personal information to send you promotional information about third parties. This would only happen when we think you may find interesting and if you have previously told us you want us to.
If you believe that any NPI we have about you is incorrect or incomplete, then please email us at dpo@focuscopy.com. We will promptly correct any errors in this information.
Updating Your Personal Information And Privacy Preferences
You have the right to access and correct or remove your NPI from our systems at any time. Upon request, FocusCopy LLC will provide you with information about whether we hold, or process on behalf of a third party, any of your NPI. If you no longer wish us to use your NPI to provide you with services, please contact us at dpo@focuscopy.com. We will respond to your request within 30 days. Operational business practices demand retention and use your NPI as necessary for business reasons in compliance with legal obligations, dispute resolution, and agreements enforcement.
Privacy Complaints
Individuals that are located in, or are citizens of certain states and countries, including the European Economic Area (EU), have certain statutory rights in relation to their personal data. Subject to any exemptions provided by law, you may have the right to request access to your personal information held by FocusCopy LLC, as well as to update, remove, or correct that information. If you are a citizen of the EU, please inform us of this prior to giving us your NPI.
To the extent that FocusCopy LLC’s processing of your personal information is subject to the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), FocusCopy relies on its legitimate interests, described above, to process your data.
